I also do believe it would be interesting for a true academic study on spanking. I have, in general, found that the most true spankos were women who were seldom to never spanked as children. Yet, this type of person, I note, knew from childhood they were interested in spanking. This makes me wonder how someone not familiar with spanking knows of a spanking interest before even engaging in it, which leads to hypostheses that we someone are born with the knowledge of pain-pleasure that spanking brings. I have found that women who were spanked often as children associated spanking with pain and generally did not grow up connecting spanking with sensuality. Yet, females who were spanked after puberty often discover this connection (and this is regardless of whether they were spanked or not as children.) This is often how women spanked as children later do discover their spanking interest. I also believe there may be other connections between spanking and the mind, through the release of endorphins, feelings of bonding between the spankee and the spanker, and the pure sensuality of stimulating the nerve endings on the buttocks, that should make this a fascinating true academic subject. I just fear that anyone who does suggest this fears being laughed out of the room. Yet, there are some academic connections that I have discovered. It is common in some countries such as Russia to receive massages that include spanking or whipping the buttocks, and some medical professionals even recommend this as a means of calming psychological distress.
